Connecting stores & marketplaces

Nothing syncs until a channel is connected — the one prerequisite every other page assumes is done.

Nothing syncs until a channel is connected — this is usually the very first thing a new account does, and the only prerequisite every other page in this handbook assumes is done.

Connectors — two Amazon seller accounts already connected; Shopify and eBay ready to add

The page splits in two: Active connections at the top — the platforms currently syncing your products, inventory and orders — and Connections below it, everything you can still add. Import CSV, top-right, is the way in for a catalog with no live connection behind it.

How to connect a marketplace

  1. 1Open Connectorsfrom the left-hand navigation, or click Manage on the dashboard’s Connections card.
  2. 2Click Connect on the channel you wantthis hands you off to that marketplace’s own sign-in screen — Orbitra never asks for your Amazon, eBay or Shopify password directly.
  3. 3Approve access on the marketplace’s sideyou’re granting Orbitra permission to read and update products, inventory and orders for that seller account.
  4. 4Orbitra pulls in your catalogthe connection moves from Connectors into Active connections, and your products start appearing on the Products page.

Each active connection shows its region, seller ID, and when it last synced. Sync forces an immediate refresh; Disconnect removes the connection without deleting the products or orders already imported from it.

Bringing products in without a live connection

Use Import CSV — on this page, or on Products — to bulk-load a catalog you’re not ready to connect live yet, or to add products that don’t originate from any of your connected channels.
