One catalog, published to as many channels as you like — plus how to fix a rejected listing.

One catalog, published to as many channels as you like. A product’s channel badge shows where it’s listed; its status shows whether that listing is healthy.

Finding a product

Filter the catalog by All Active Not uploaded Error Ended Archived, or search by title, SKU or vendor. On this account that reads All 1,270 · Active 233 · Not uploaded 1,204 · Error 29 · Ended 14 · Archived 11 — so most of the catalog has never been published anywhere.

Each row shows image, product title and vendor, SKU (with a +3 badge when the product has more), price and currency, variant count, inventory (flagged Low when stock is thin), the source channel, and a status column per connected marketplace — the column here is headed Amazon IN, and that is the listing’s state on that specific seller account, not the product’s state overall.

A row can also carry a small badge under its title — REFUSED when the marketplace turned the listing down, CHECK when Orbitra’s pre-publish check found something worth looking at before you spend a publish.

How to publish a product for the first time

  1. 1Select the product(s)tick the checkbox on each row you want to publish — or select an entire filtered view.
  2. 2Open Actions → Publishthis opens the publish flow rather than publishing immediately.
  3. 3Pick target channelschoose which connected marketplaces the product should go live on.
  4. 4Pick a listing templatea saved template for that channel/region fills in category mapping and item specifics — see Listing templates. Skip this and you’ll be asked to fill those fields manually.
  5. 5Confirmthe product moves from Not uploaded to Active once the marketplace accepts it, or to Error if it’s rejected — see the next section.

Inside a product

Open any product to see its full picture:

  • Inventory — available, in-stock and reserved units, and a per-variant breakdown with its own Available figure.
  • Marketplace listings — one card per channel the product is published to, with its listing ID and, when something’s wrong, the exact reason.
  • Variants — image, SKU, price, margin and status per variant.
  • Attributes & metafields — condition and any custom fields carried over from the source platform.
  • Source — for a Shopify-sourced product, a link back to the original record, plus a reminder that title, description, price, quantity and images sync from Shopify: you can edit them in Orbitra, but the edit won’t push back upstream.

How to fix a rejected listing

A product can show Error on one channel while staying healthy on another. Opening the product shows exactly why — for example:

❌ Amazon

“Rejected by Amazon — Revise skipped — product not published to Amazon (no SKU).”

❌ eBay

“Rejected by eBay — Revise skipped — product not published to eBay (no itemId).”

  1. 1Open the productand find the failing channel under Marketplace listings.
  2. 2Read the reasonvia Show details — most rejections trace back to a missing required field (a SKU, a category, an image the marketplace won’t accept).
  3. 3Fix the underlying dataon the product itself — assign the missing SKU, correct the category, swap the image.
  4. 4Re-check or re-publishuse Re-check to re-validate without re-sending, or re-publish / Relist to try again.
