How products come in, how they’re priced, and which edits go back out.

Automatic sync

Each connected channel keeps its own pull schedule, so a slow store never holds up a fast one — turn it on per channel, or trigger one immediately with Sync now.

Scheduled syncs run overnight in your account’s time zone (set in Account, GMT here): weekly on Sunday, monthly on the 1st. Automatic sync is off with a last synced time means the channel has only ever been pulled by hand.

Publish markup

Add an amount to your price when a product is listed. Three options: Off — publish at your actual price (nothing is added), One markup for every channel (the same value on every marketplace), or A different markup per channel (set Amazon and eBay separately). A channel’s own markup replaces the general one; it does not stack on top of it.

Under the radios, General markup is the value used by any channel with none of its own, and Per channel holds one row per marketplace — each either Use general markup or its own type and amount.

Tax & VAT

Applied to the listed price at publish, after any currency conversion.

Tax mode	Behaviour	Example
Off — list price as-is	The price you set is the price shown.	£20.00 publishes at £20.00 on every channel.
Gross up so the listed price includes tax	Orbitra adds tax on top before publishing.	A £20.00 product with 20% tax publishes at £24.00.

Duplicate SKUs on import

What happens when an imported row carries a SKU you already have:

Option	Result
Replace the existing product	Overwrites what you already have.
Create a new SKU from a template	Keeps both records, renaming the incoming one. The template accepts `{sku}`, `{marketplace}` and `{itemId}` — so `{sku}-{marketplace}` turns an imported `ORB-1042` from eBay into `ORB-1042-ebay`.
Discard the incoming row	Keeps what you have and skips the import for that row.

Field sync

Which fields an edit in Orbitra pushes out. Pick a channel at the top of the card (eBay listings here) — each channel keeps its own set of field rules. Everything is on by default; untick a row to stop propagating that field.

Price	Push price changes, after markup, FX and tax.

Images	Push image changes.

These apply when updating a listing that already exists. A first-time publish always sends every field.

Inventory policy

Buffers, low-stock alerts, and what a listing does when stock runs out. Applies across All channels by default, with a per-channel override for eBay and Amazon — each either Use the default above or its own values.

Field	On this account	What it does
Safety stock	0	Units held back from every listing’s advertised quantity — a buffer against overselling.
Low-stock threshold	1	Stock level that triggers the Low flag on the Products list and a low-stock email (see Notifications).

When a sale empties the pool — what happens to a listing the moment its stock hits zero:

Leave listed at 0	The listing stays up, showing no stock — this account’s current default.
End the listing	The listing is taken down entirely.
Pause the listing	The listing is hidden but kept, ready to reactivate once restocked.
